On May 2nd VAMAC will host it's first benefit bike ride to raise money for Operation Rise and Conquer a program developed by the Adaptive Sports Center in Colorado. "The program was developed in 2013 to empower and inspire wounded soldiers and veterans to regain confidence and trust in themselves and others" So why cycling and VAMAC, what do these two things have in common? VAMAC's corporate offices are located in Richmond, Virginia the city that has been chosen to host the 2015 World Road Cycling Championships in September. Cycling has become a growing sport in RVA and to celebrate this event and to support cycling in the community we have decided to host our own event while at the same time raise money for a cause we strongly believe in. So come out and ride with us May 2nd!
