VAMAC Henrico moved from its original branch location in Richmond to Henrico County after a fire burned down the corporate office and branch building in 1967. The branch was set up as a traditional counter, where the plumbing, well, septic, and water treatment inventories were kept solely in the warehouse. We were the first plumbing wholesaler to change our branch to have self-service aisles. This became so popular with our customers that our competition followed suit. Since VAMAC began in 1915, we have dedicated ourselves to provide extra-mile service, quality products, and value with our team effort.
